Today, Radney Funeral Home has far more to offer than "direct" cremation. In fact, memorial services are becoming an important part of cremation arrangements. Many families plan a traditional gathering and viewing, followed by cremation and a committal or scattering ceremony. Others prefer a memorial service with the personalized urn present following the cremation. Still others prefer a simple cremation and choose to share the cremated remains among family members in keepsake urns and jewelry. The options are unlimited.
We offer a 4-step systematic approach that allows all families to choose the service options that are best for them.
This simple 4-step process includes :
Step 1: Selecting a plan — a customized ceremony and viewing prior to the cremation with a tribute service following the cremation; a private viewing prior to cremation with a memorial service following the cremation; or a more simplified plan without ceremony or viewing.
Step 2: Selecting a container — the container selected depends largely on the type of service and viewing desired... cremation caskets are available for all types of visitations and viewings, while alternative containers can be provided when there is no viewing or gathering.
Step 3: Selecting an urn — depending upon your family's desire for the cremated remains, urns are available for niche placement, burial, home display, or scattering.
Step 4: Selecting personalization and keepsakes — from simple engraving to symbolic tributes and personal keepsakes, a number of options are available to help families honor the life of their loved one while creating meaningful memories they can take home.
